Dear Community Members,

The 2026-27 budget proposal continues Brighton’s Investment in Excellence and our Visual and Performing Arts Department is proof.

Our music program serves every student, and our ensembles reach over 1,800 students in grades 4-12, with choirs, bands, orchestras, jazz ensembles, and chamber groups.

In visual arts, our students discover new ways of thinking and problem-solving through the creative process.

In theatre this year, French Road Elementary School is producing a musical, Twelve Corners Middle School produced a play and musical, and Brighton High School brought four productions to life.
